Seniors - The technology department will start collecting Chromebooks and chargers on Wednesday and Thursday during both lunches. Anyone who does not need their Chromebook for class please turn them in.

Seniors:  Please make sure all your classroom books and obligations are taken care of by Thursday.  Please be reminded that all obligations must be taken care of prior to graduation.  

Are you looking for a Summer Job?  Check out the Job Fair Information in your graduation year Google Classroom.  Click on the Classwork tab at the top and then click on the Summer Jobs under Topics on the left side.  There are also job opportunities on the student bulletin board. 

Attention Students:  The last day to order a yearbook is May 26th.  Additional books will NOT be ordered, and may not be available for purchase when they arrive in the fall.  Ordering NOW is the only way to guarantee you get a copy of this historic yearbook.  Order online at or bring payment of $60 to Mrs. Kludy in room 104.

The 2021 Junior/Senior Prom will be Saturday May 15th from 8-11 pm at Lewis Farms.  Prom tickets will be on sale at lunches starting today for juniors and seniors.  Tickets may be purchased $25 for a single ticket, $40 for two.  There will be a limited amount of tickets due to health department restrictions, please purchase tickets as soon as possible.  All prom attendees will need to have a negative antigen test before being allowed to participate.  Each ticket holder must have a signed consent form for antigen testing on file prior to receiving purchased tickets.  Details on antigen testing will come next week.  Guest passes are available and due back to the office Wednesday May 12th.  See Mr. or Mrs. Olmstead to have your questions Last day to purchase a prom ticket is Wednesday, May 12th

If you are attending Prom and want to participate in the corn hole tournament, sign ups are in the office. If you plan to be in the tournament, make sure you will be at the dance by 8:30.  Gift cards will be awarded to the top 3 teams.

Attention, students planning on attending prom, an antigen consent form is required for all students attending the prom.  

Seniors are scheduled to take an antigen test Thursday May 13th starting at 1:40 pm in the gym.  If you need a test to be conducted earlier because you are not in a 3rd block/Seminar class, please let the office know.

Juniors, and guests who are sophomores or freshmen are scheduled to take an antigen test Friday May 14th prior to school starting at 7:40am and the start of class at 8:00 am.  Students who do not test prior to school will be able to test at seminar time through dismissal.  Remember Friday is a half day of classes.  


Any prom attendee who has not had an antigen test either Thursday or Friday will need to be tested on site at Lewis Farms prior to entering the prom.  This includes students from other districts and any other guests.  You will need to wait in the parking lot outside the prom for the 15 minute wait time required to read the results of the antigen test.  If you have a negative test, you will be allowed into the prom.  If you have a positive test, you will not be allowed into the prom and will be advised to seek further testing.

The Shelby Rotary Club Camp Scholarship has been extended to May 24th!  If you plan on any summer camps, check out this opportunity to help cover your camp fees.  The application is in your graduating year Google Classroom.

Seniors: Have you been receiving scholarship and award offers from your colleges? The Guidance Office wants to know! We will acknowledge these awards during the Senior Recognition night in May. More info can be found in Google Classroom. Please upload your awards and scholarships in the Class of 2021 Google Classroom or stop in the guidance office to let us know. We want ro recognize you! 

Students:  With the increase of covid 19 cases, please be diligent in wearing your mask covering your nose and mouth.  It is our responsibility to protect each other.   Thank you for your cooperation in helping.  

Students:  With the weather warming up, please be reminded of the student dress code.  No bare midriffs, shorts, skirts, dresses need to be fingertip length.  No clothing that is a distraction to the learning environment.

Student drivers:  If you are driving to school, please make sure you have a parking pass.  You need the application, parent signature, drivers license and $5.00.

Students please remember to bring your own water bottle to school. The kitchen staff is going through a large amount of cups per day and is concerned about the effect this is having on our environment. Please do your part and be responsible for your hydration needs. Thanks for your cooperation.


Calling all athletes.  Are you ready to get back on the court?  The field? The track?  Sport physicals for the 2021-2022 school season can begin April 16th.  Please stop at the SAHC to schedule your appointment.    No out of pocket cost for your parents, students can come make appointments during school hours.  Well child exams, update your immunizations and get your sport physical all in one stop.  Schedule physicals and up to date immunizations will receive a special gift.
